  • The LV Y-90 Disc resides within a custom-fitted well on the inner surface of the iWand P.
  • The applicator tip has been designed to be as slender and smooth as possible, so its introduction posterior to the eye and peri-ocular maneuverability is maximized.
  • Note the 4 guiding lights located around and thus encircling the LV Y-90 Disc source. Once inserted behind the eye, these lights are ophthalmoscopically and photographically visible as distinct spots, surrounding and thus defining the treatment area.

Liberty Vision has developed the iWand® P to be a simple device for treating intraocular tumors and benign growths.

The iWand P has been specially designed to treat posterior ocular tumors and growths. Optimized for episcleral, extraocular placement of beta radiation, the iWand P holds the patent pending LV Y-90 Disc. Posterior application will require a conjunctival opening to insert the device. Liberty Vision makes viewing of the source behind the eye possible by incorporating four guiding lights surrounding the LV Y-90 Disc source. Ophthalmoscopy (indirect or photographic) can be used to view and thus guide the four lights and thus the disc beneath the targeted zone. The iWand P lights circumscribe the target, offering direct, recordable confirmation of LV Y-90 Disc source’s location during treatment. Like the anterior model, each superlight iWand P is individually packaged and is sterile for single use.
