Liberty Vision is pleased to announce the world’s first publication on LV Y-90 Disc brachytherapy! This new technology was initially employed to treat patients with iris, and iridociliary melanomas as well as ocular surface malignant squamous carcinoma. However, it is FDA-cleared for sale in the USA for episcleral treatment of tumors and benign growths. There are many such tumors and growths that have been treated with its predicate, Sr-90/Y-90 applicator. The LV handheld iWand applicators shown in this article allow for additional functionality, including light-guided light-defined treatments.
